Conference Schedule Outline
The conference will follow the conventional EURO schedule with the Opening Session and the Welcome Reception on Sunday and the Scientific Programme from Monday to Wednesday. The Scientific Program consists mainly of invited plenary and keynote talks and parallel sessions.
We have a strong Social Programme organised with options on each conference evening. Following the Welcome Reception on Sunday evening, the city of Espoo welcomes all delegates to its reception in Espoo Cultural Centre on Monday evening. The Conference Dinner is organized on Tuesday. Finally, Wednesday’s closing session is followed by a farewell get-together event.
Conference dinner in the renowned Finlandia Hall
The conference dinner is organized in Finlandia Hall26, which is an internationally renowned venue for
conferences and events located in a park by the sea in the heart of Helsinki. The building is designed by the renowned Finnish architect Alvar Aalto, and it hosts hundreds of large events such as exhibitions, banquets, conferences and concerts annually (859 events in 2017). In 2018, the Finlandia Hall was awarded the Best Conference Venue prize by the International Festival of Events and Live Communication.
